We almost always assume that no matter what food we put into our mouth, we are doing some sort of damage to our teeth. While the truth isn’t nearly as dramatic, it still holds water. Coffee, soda pop, and tea can all do some damage to your smile.
Juice filled berries as well as soy sauce soaked rice can do the same thing.
So if you are feeling like a snack and you want to whiten your teeth at the same time, try foods high in fiber.
Apples, spinach, broccoli, carrots and celery are all healthy ways to scrub your smile. There are a whole host of other health benefits of these treats as well. So eat away and don’t feel guilty! If you have trouble remembering what times of food or drinks to be consuming then just remember this simple little fact: if it is dark in color before it goes to your lips then it will probably stain your teeth. So avoid anything super dark, or else opt for brushing your teeth immediately afterward.
